CD163 and neoplasm: High numbers of myofibroblasts (determined by α-SMA), M2-macrophages (determined by CD163 or CD204), regulatory T cells (T-regs determined by FoxP3 or CD25) and Th2 cells (determined by GATA-3+) have been generally found to correlate with tumor progression, reduced patient survival and worse prognosis [6]–[13].
