TNFAIP3 and rheumatoid arthritis: Recently, genome-wide association and replication analysis studies have shown that genes in the NF-κB pathway such as TNFα-induced protein 3 (TNFAIP3) and TNIP1 are associated with several autoimmune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) [2]–[5], psoriasis [6]–[7], psoriatic arthritis (PsA) [8], systemic sclerosis (SSc), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) [9]–[10].
