To confirm the upregulation of RUNX1-RUNXT1 genes in ccRCC, we examined the expression level of three upregulated genes of NETO2, VCAN, and GBP2 in 16 pairs of ccRCC tumors and adjacent normal tissues using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR), including 8 pairs used for RNA sequencing and an additional 8 pairs of ccRCC tumor and normal tissues. This evidence concerns the gene RUNX1 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
