GH1 and Gonadotropin deficiency: Agha et al. analyzed HP-axis deficiencies in adults treated with radiotherapy for non-pituitary brain tumors and found that mild to moderate hyperprolactinemia occurred at a shorter median time (33 months) in comparison to GH, ACTH, or gonadotropin deficiency (100 months), possibly reflecting an earlier manifestation of hypothalamic dysfunction in comparison to pituitary dysfunction (18).
