When assessing the association of BUD13/ZNF259 SNPs and the risk of hyperlipidaemia, this study showed that although the ZNF259 rs964184 and ZNF259 rs2075290 SNPs were strongly associated with serum lipid levels in the both hyperlipidaemic and normolipidaemic populations, these variants did not reach statistically significant association with HCH/HTG risk. Here, ZPR1 is linked to hyperlipidemia.
