In this study, to explore novel interactive insights between Aur A/B and BRCA1/2, we used specific shRNAs to consecutively silence the expressions of Aur A/B and BRCA1/2 in pancreatic and ovarian cancer cell lines, and analyzed the cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, cytokinesis, chromosomal polyploidy, and tumorigenesis of resulting cells. The gene discussed is BRCA1; the disease is ovarian cancer.
