There are significant association of alleles of the Apo E and Apo C111 genes with the value of lipid parameters in the Kazakhs, which confirms their substantial contribution to the determination of the abarrant lipid metabolism; the E4 allele of the Apo E gene is a leading molecular genetic factor in the development of hypercholesterolemia; the S1 allele of the Apo C111gene predisposes to the development of hypertriglyceridemia. This evidence concerns the gene AOPEP and familial hypercholesterolemia.
