A previous study indicated that ChR and its analog (NOC) preferentially inhibited growth in human HER-2/neu-overexpression breast cancer cells (15); therefore, in the present study the effects of BrMC on the growth of three breast cancer lines (MDA-MB-453, BT-474 and MCF-7) and the immortalized noncancerous MCF-10A breast cell line were investigated.
