So far, mPGES-1 has been demonstrated to be directly associated with many diseases such as pain, fever, tumorigenesis, atherosclerosis, reproduction and skin fibrogenesis [12,13,14,15,16,17], yet there is no current research pertaining to the function of mPGES-1 in IPF. This evidence concerns the gene PTGES and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
