Endogenous cannabinoids (endocannabinoids, eCB) and CB1 receptors agonists have anticonvulsant activity in the electroshock seizure, the spontaneous seizure, and the kainic acid seizure models of epilepsy, while CB1 antagonists have proconvulsive activity in these models [14], [15], [16], [17].
