PTEN and neoplasm: It is now considered the prototype oncomir, with most of its targets known to be tumor suppressor genes, such as phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN), acidic (leucine-rich) nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family, member A (ANP32A), SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily A, and member 4 (SMARCA4) [33, 78].
