In meta-analysis of lung non-small cell carcinoma from fourteen studies (2606 cases) [27], cyclin E over-expression was found to be a strong predictor of poor prognosis in lung carcinoma patients (HR: 1.38, 95% CI: 1.07-1.79; P = 0.014). This evidence concerns the gene CCNE1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
