Our results showed that the COX-2 −765G>C polymorphism was associated with an increased CRC risk among Asians (dominant model CC+CG vs. GG: OR = 1.399, 95%CI: 1.113–1.760, P = 0.004), which was in accordance with the previously published meta-analysis by Cao et al. [13]. Here, PTGS2 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
