IL10 and sarcoidosis: Although all IL‐10 producing cells are likely to have T‐cell suppressive activity, IL‐10 monocytes are unique in its temporal position in sarcoidosis disease pathogenesis — they come into play much earlier, and we postulate that failure of monocytes to control T‐cell activity contributes to T‐cell hyperactivity which then cause a secondary increase in Treg cells and B reg cells.
