The second model shows that cigarette smoking (packyears; beta  = 0.256; p<0.001), coffee (beta  = 0.166; p<0.001), cumulative occupational AAs exposure (beta  = 0.084; p = 0.041) and MnSOD (beta  = 0.119; p = 0.009) increased the BC risk whereas MPO (beta  = −0.115; p<0.008) decreased it. This evidence concerns the gene MPO and breast cancer.
