AKT1 and neoplasm: Treatment with γ-tocotrienol also inhibited the activation of AKT, mTOR, and P70S6K kinases in a time-dependent manner in HCCLM3 cells (Fig. 5C), suggesting that the AKT/mTOR pathway may mediate both anti-angiogenic/anti-tumor effects of γ-tocotrienol.
