To search for splicing regulators that control lung-cancer associated splicing changes, we surveyed the expression of 59 known splicing regulators in microarray data collected from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database [22]–[24] and found that the RNA-binding protein Quaking (QKI) is the most frequently down-regulated splicing factor in lung cancer tissues. Here, QKI is linked to lung carcinoma.
