Animals from the cirrhosis control group had significantly (P < 0.05) higher levels (3.32 ± 0.87 ng/mL) of CYP2E1 compared with normal group (1.64 ± 0.62 ng/mL) and SY-treated group (1.76 ± 0.51 ng/mL). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2E1 and Cirrhosis.
