The CXCL10 content in the acute phase was higher than that in the convalescent phase in HFRS patients (P < 0.001) and the CXCL10 levels in both acute phase and convalescent phase in HFRS patients were significantly higher compared with those in normal control (P < 0.001) (Figure 1(b)). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.
