The percentage of CD14+CXCR3+ cells in all the CD14+ subset in PBMCs increased from (6.13 ± 0.92) % (normal control, n = 4) to (21.00 ± 6.21) % (HFRS patients in acute phase, n = 16) and went back to (10.17 ± 2.28) % (HFRS patients in convalescent phase, n = 9) (Figure 2(b)). Here, CXCR3 is linked to hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.
