Considering the strong antioxidant property of PON3 and its high concentration inthe FF, it is likely that this enzyme plays an importantrole in the oogenesis, eggs quality and fertilization. In the present study, PON3 activity and the ratio ofantioxidant to peroxidation in the FF of women withmale factor infertility (MFI) and with female factorinfertility (FFI) were compared after ovarian stimulation, while their variation with respect to the number of oocytes, embryo cell number (ECN), embryofragmentation score (EFS) and fertilization rate (FR)were statistically analyzed. The gene discussed is PON3; the disease is Infertility.
