Other significantly amplified cytobands in the q arm of chromosome 20 encoded well-established oncogenes that were associated with CRC, and these included 20q11.21 (BCL2L1), 20q13.2–20q13.31 (AURKA), 20q11.23 (SRC & CTNNBL1), 20q11.21–20q11.22 (DNMT3B) and 20q11.22 (DYNLRB1). The gene discussed is AURKA; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
