Analysis of the individual genes in chromosome 8 revealed that only 5 of the genes were previously reported to be related to CRC; these genes were CSMD1, DLC1, TUSC3, SGCZ and LONRF1. The distribution of the losses, shown in red, can be observed in the karyotype diagram as shown in Figure 1. Here, TUSC3 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
