We assessed the ability of the HGCS to prioritize candidate genes inhigh-throughput data, using WES data for 16 patients who suffered from herpessimplex encephalitis (HSE, core gene TLR3, Additional files 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,6 and 7: Table S1-S7) [14], Mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial disease (MSMD, core geneIFNG, Additional files 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13and 14: Table S8-S14) [15], or invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD, core gene IKBKG,Additional files 15 and 16: Tables S15 and S16) [16] due to single-gene inborn errors of immunity. This evidence concerns the gene TLR3 and herpes simplex encephalitis.
