According to BCP status, the stratification analysis results showed that genotype C is a risk factor for the HCC development in individuals with BCP double mutations (P = 0.008, OR = 17.19 [95% CI: 2.10 - 140.41]), but not in those with the wild-type BCP (Table 3), while the results from genotype stratification analysis showed that BCP double mutations are risk factors of HCC in both individuals with genotype C and those with genotypes B and I (Table 4).
