Other microRNAs like miR-29a, miR-132, miR-133a1, miR-182, and miR-330 were found to regulate the expression of the known Parkinson's related genes ACHE, CX3CL1, FGFR1, L1CAM, and SPTAN1. Being direct interacting partners with known PD-related genes some of these miRNAs could be considered as potential regulatory targets in Parkinson's disease mechanism. The gene discussed is ACHE; the disease is Parkinsonism.
