TP53 and neoplasm: Indeed, either in univariate analysis (Table 3; p = 0.026) or multivariate logistic regression analysis (Table 4; OR = 1.89; 95% CI = 1.03-3.46; p = 0.039), the patients whose tumours were diagnosed either on sigmoid colon or rectum were 1.89 times more likely to be positive for p53 nuclear accumulation than if the tumours were diagnosed on colon (left, right and transverse).
