We observed reduced amplitudes in the mRNA expression of Reverbα Per2, Pparγ C/ebpα, and associated genes (Fas, Lpl, Scd1, Dgat2) and a parallel increase in Bmal1, Cry1, Pbe and Tfam indicating alterations in the core clock regulation and lipid homeostasis during cachexia. The gene discussed is CRY1; the disease is Cachexia.
