Indeed, our data showed here that the WT1 overexpression can not only be used as a negative prognostic marker for CN-AML but also, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, contributes to the identification of the CN-AML risk subgroups that are normally stratified by the NPM1 and FLT3 mutation status. Here, FLT3 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
