HPN and squamous cell lung carcinoma: Interestingly, while most of the cancer literature is primarily focused on Hepsin in prostate cancer, analysis of publically available datasets indicates that Hepsin is frequently amplified in a variety of human cancer types, especially in ovarian serous adenocarcinoma (10%), sarcoma (7.2%), lung adenocarcinoma (5.4%), lung squamous cell carcinoma (4.5%), adenoid cystic carcinoma (5%), breast carcinoma (2.6%), as well as many other cancer types (Figure S1).
