It has been reported that during viral infection MAVS forms large detergent resistant aggregates which activate IRF3 in cytosol [5].To analyze kinetics of MAVS aggregate formation during RV infection and role of NSP1 in this process, SDD-AGE (semidenaturing detergent agarose gel electrophoresis) was used as described previously [5]. Here, MAVS is linked to viral infectious disease.
