Nakajima and collaborators have studied the expression of Th1/Th2-related chemokine receptors in MS patients and found that the ratio of CD4+CXCR3+/CD4+CCR4+,which represents Th1/Th2 balance, was higher in active MS patients than remission MS group, indicating that there is a shift from Th2 to Th1 in pathogenesis of MS [44]. This evidence concerns the gene CCR4 and myeloid sarcoma.
