SNAI3 transcription was barely detectable in colon and lung cancers and weakly induced in ESCC and kidney cancers (data not shown), but significantly induced in primary non-metastatic breast tumors from untreated patients, as compared to immortalized mammary epithelial cells (HMEC-hTERT) (FC>10 in 58.2%, n = 67) (Figure 1).
