The results from many studies have clearly identified IL-4/IL-5/IL-10 as important regulatory cytokines in parasitic infections, such as infection by Schistosoma mansoni in mice [28], [29] and humans [30], Schistosoma haematobium[31], Trichuris muris[32], and Trichinella spiralis[33].
