OPHN1 and astrocytoma (excluding glioblastoma): Comparing astrocytoma cell lines overexpressing active (ADAR2) and inactive ADAR2 (ADAR2 E/A), we observed a significant OPHN1 increase (at both mRNA and protein levels) only when the active ADAR2 was present (Figure 4A–B, Figure S4 in File S1 and data not shown), along with a significant increase of editing values at the ADAR2-specific editing sites (sites 3-4-10) (Figure 4A–B and Table 2).
