Astrocytoma cell lines show RNA editing activity mediated by ADAR1 (as observed at the hotspot ADAR1-specific editing site within the miniB13 transgene [17]) and a low/null ADAR2 editing activity (as observed at the GluR-B Q/R ADAR2-specific editing site within the miniB13 transgene [17]) (Figure S2 in File S1), as previously reported [24], [25], [30].
