Both the expression of cleaved caspase-3 and NF-κB p65 were positively correlated with TB (Kupffer cells: rs = 0.707, p = 0.001 and rs = 0.853, p < 0.001, respectively) (lymphocytes: rs = 0.490, p = 0.039 and rs = 0.636, p = 0.008, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and tuberculosis.
