TP53 and ovarian carcinoma: Since mutations in Tp53 that result in accumulation of mutated Tp53 protein occur frequently in ovarian cancer and are more relevant than deletion (8, 88), it may be possible to add the Tp53 mutation in the Wv ovarian tubular adenomas to test if Tp53 mutation can convert the benign epithelial tumors to malignant adenocarcinomas (Figure 3).
