In conclusion, in the present study, our data demonstrated that RDW levels were higher, an independent predicting for isolated CAE, and positive correlated with inflammatory marker, CRP in patients with isolated CAE, suggesting that RDW, an easy, inexpensive, routinely reported test, whose assessment might allow the acquisition of significant diagnostic and prognosis information in patients with cardiovascular disorders [15] may be a useful marker and independent predictor for patients with isolated CAE. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is cardiovascular disorder.
