Further multivariate analysis showed that tumor invasion (relative risk = 2.155, 95% CI, 1.531–3.032, P<0.001), lymph node metastasis (relative risk = 1.345, 95% CI, 1.099–1.647, P=0.004), SOX11 (relative risk = 0.604, 95% CI, 0.391–0.9340, P=0.023), and age (relative risk = 1.913, 95% CI, 1.213–3.019, P=0.005) were independent prognostic factors for the survival rate of gastric cancer patients (Table II). This evidence concerns the gene SOX11 and neoplasm.
