Of interest was the observation that whereas there was a marked increase in the frequencies of pDCs rapidly following infection in the control group of animals (p<0.004), this increase was blunted during acute infection in the JAK3 inhibitor animals and the increase delayed until the cessation of JAK3 inhibitor administration (Figure 6 E & F) with a significant increase (p<0.001) thereafter, with a similar level of sustained increase in both groups of animals.
