ERVW-1 and infection: Results showed that pretreatment with SF162 failed to enhance subsequent infection by NL43-Luci/VSV-G in macrophages (Fig. 1A and 1B, left panels), whereas pretreatment with VSV-G-pseudotyped and Env-defective HIV-2 particles containing Vpx (GH123-Nhe/VSV-G) enhanced luciferase expression (Fig. 1A and 1B, left panels), as reported previously [30].
