FMO5 and neurodegenerative disease: ROCK1 may be involved in the oxidative stress responses through modulating NADPH oxidase activity in a wide range of pathological conditions including inflammation, reperfusion injury and degeneration etc. It would be of interest to validate the present finding to other disease in vitro models and move forward to animal models of cardiovascular, metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases in which oxidative stresses play significant pathological roles.
