In univariate analysis, a high CD4 count at first HIV care visit was protective against the presence of CIN+: >350 cells/mm3 (OR: 0.5; 95% CI: 0.3–0.8) (Ref: CD4 <200 cells/mm3) (p = 0.02). Here, CD4 is linked to cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
