It seems that the autoimmune alteration in MS is caused by T-cells of Th1 type and Th17 type (IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-17), while the anti-inflammatory cytokines of Th2 type (IL-6 and IL-10) have been associated with remission periods and the recovery from the disease [2, 22–29]. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
