This observation was consistent with previous studies on non-small cell lung cancer [46], malignant melanoma [47], thyroid carcinoma [20], hepatocellular carcinoma [21] and colorectal cancer [18], [48] etc. A series of studies have demonstrated that CEACAM1 can promote tumor progression and metastasis through many ways. This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
