Results indicated loss of AGR-2 in PC3 cells resulted in significant reduction in tumor cell adhesion, loss of expression of α4, α5, αV, β3 and β4 integrins and development of apoptosis resistance, suggesting role of AGR-2 in metastatic cascade of prostate cancer by affecting tumor cell adhesion and migration. The gene discussed is AGR2; the disease is Familial prostate cancer.
