Analysis of prostate cancer gene expression dataset for primary and metastatic prostate cancer (194 cases) published by Taylor et al., 2010 using CBIOPORTAL indicated an odds ratio of 4.25 (confidence interval 1.40–12.86; p<0.02 by Fisher’s Exact Test) between AGR-2 and Caspase-3 suggesting a tendency towards co-occurrence of these two molecules [26]. This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and prostate cancer.
