As ERα is dynamically regulated, we studied estrogen signaling by assessing the impact of LXA4 on the downstream effectors c-Myc, CCND1 and GREB1, key regulators of cell cycle progression and cellular proliferation, whose dysregulated expression and activation has been implicated in the pathogenesis of human cancers [36], [37], [40], [56], and in endometriotic cell proliferation [57]–[59].
