Overall, the pooled results showed that the MTHFR C677T polymorphism was not associated with the development of AML (OR, 0.98–1.04; 95% CI, 0.86–0.92 to 1.09–1.25; P, 0.750–0.976), without statistically significant between-study heterogeneity (I2, 0.0%–26.4%; P for heterogeneity, 0.178–0.573). This evidence concerns the gene MTHFR and acute myeloid leukemia.
