INS and myeloid sarcoma: While subjects with MS displayed higher BMI-SDS, FM, fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, insulin, c-peptide, HOMA-IR, hs-CRP, TG and TG: HDL-C ratio than the non-MS subjects (data not shown; p < .0.01), they displayed lower c-peptide: insulin ratio than the non-MS subjects (6.6 ± 2.7 vs. 7.4 ± 2.7, p < 0.05).
