Cell models used included Hep3B, C3A, HepG2 and Huh7, several of which showed an upregulation of erlotinib-resistance genes, AXL, HGF, FGFR1 and ERBB3 in comparison to an erlotinib-sensitive lung cancer line (Fig. S4). The gene discussed is FGFR1; the disease is lung cancer.
