Results of borderline significance (0.05 < p < 0.10) were ABCB1 expression by ABCB1 C3435T genotype (0.43 ± 0.55 wildtype vs. 0.63 ± 0.88 variants; p = 0.076), ABCC2 expression by disease type (1.20 ± 1.5 SVV vs. 1.43 ± 1.29 SLE; p = 0.078), and ABCG2 expression within SLE patients by gender (0.34 ± 0.34 female versus 0.11 ± 0.07 male; p = 0.074). Here, ABCC2 is linked to systemic lupus erythematosus.
