TSPY1 and prostate intraepithelial neoplasia: Further, both TSPY and FOXA1 proteins were co-expressed and co-localized in the same hyperplastic epithelial cells of PIN lesions (Figure 3G-J), suggesting that TSPY could exacerbate the oncogenic properties of FOXA1 and other cancer-promoting biomarkers in prostatic epithelial and tumor cells during cancer development and progression.
